FUKUSEN-JI (Temple)
福泉寺
This is a temple of the Shingon Buddhist sect opened in 1912, the first year of the Taisho era. The largest wooden carving of Kannon, the Buddhist god of Mercy, is enshrined here. One of the most beautiful places to see cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring or red and golden leaves in the fall, the temple is bustling all year round with pilgrims and visitors.
