God of childbirth and a bountiful harvest
Yamasaki Konseisama Shrine
Konseisama is a god worshipped by many local people and is commonly known as the god responsible for children, back pain relief, and a bountiful harvest. It has the unique shape of a phallus. With a height of 1.5m, the Yamasaki Konseisama is especially large. Women who polish the Konseisama with a kitchen scourer are said to find relief from back pain. The Konseisama festival is held on MAy 5.
