Both the Takazen Ryokan, where the founder of Japanese folklore Kunio Yanagida stayed, as well as an old sake storehouse have been relocated and reconstructed here. With its large collection of folktales, the Monogatari Kura(Legend Storehouse)uses images to explain these stories. In the adjacent Bussankan(Local Products Building)you can shop,eat or relax.
